this story is about a family that are very poor, they live in a very very small house. In fact you couldn't even call it a house it is more like a room. In this family there are three people, two girls and there father. There father had once been a very rich man, he had owned a very sucssesful buissnes but one day it had gone bust. They had to sell all there lovely things and there lovely house. The situation was so bad the girls mother left them, that is how they came to be in this state now.
They weren't used to cooking for them selves because they had been so used to having serveants to do evreything for them, in fact they had been quite spoiled. The girls were very diffrent, one was 17, she was called and she was very moody. She wouldn't help to do any thing around the house and when she did do some thing she wouldn't stop grumbling about it. The other one was 12 and the complete opposite, she was unhappy if she did NOT have a job to do and she always had a smile on her face.

Eco-city

At school I was chosen to go to Dynamic-earth for a week to do a thing called 'Eco-city'.Eco-city is a model of part of Edinburgh(from the traun kirk to one part of Arthurs seat up to holyrood and then back up to the traun kirk)To describe the size of the model I will tell you that the size of a person is the size of my thumb nail. There were 6 schools there and twelve from each school were chosen. We were put into groups and I was in a group with Tamara and some other kids from other schools, then we each got a bit of the model and my group (the red group) was given the 'Dumbydikes' area.We had one week to come up with ideas and in that same week we had to build our ideas. The basic part of the model was already there. On my model we kept all of the low flats in Dumbydikes but we painted them pastel colours. With the high rised flats we moved the walls back, painted them pastel colours and added roof gardens and glass domes. On Arthurs seat we put a dry ski slope (we knew that it would never happen but it was the ideas that counted!!!!)In holyrood park we put a panthenom
